Can anyone recommend their walking toys? DD isn't close to walking but she likes to try to pull up on lots of stuff (altho not always successfully). And she's definitely starting to think about walking. She likes playing on
this and it's not meant to be a walker, but it does slide as she pushes it and she tries to go with it. Anyone have something that's more meant to help LOs practice walking?
Re: walking toys
Yes -- that's what I'm looking for. DD isn't steady enough to push something like this on her own yet but I think if I scoot around behind her she'll have fun playing with it. I can't believe Mollusk is about to walk -- that's so crazy! Are you ready for it?
I am not ready lol. She cruises everywhere and will even hold on to the wall and walk along it with one hand, she just won't let go. I am excited for her to try but terrified for what follows. I am torn between missing my little baby and loving to see all of the new exciting things to come.
Well it's good that you see the upside, too -- I love watching them discover new things. DD is so proud of herself when she learns something new. I'm missing my little baby sometimes these days, too, but part of me is also ready for her to be a little more self sufficient, which is happening slowly. I want my space and I want her to need me -- I'm so torn!
