My girls are 22 months apart. I don't have anything to compare it too but so far it's working out great. Paige was just old enough to understand some of what was going on and do some things on her own. And they are close enough in age that they will have similar age appropriate interests.
23 months. ?At first it was tough with a newborn & toddler, but now, DD goes out of her way to help - not because we ask her to, she thinks of it on her own. ?She now insists on holding his hand in the car, when he lets her she's all "thank you Bryan". ?I think it's going to be awesome. ?:-)
3 years and for us, it's perfect. ?DD was potty trained when ds was born which was a big plus. ?She was also already in a big girl bed so she did not feel like she was losing her crib.
She loves her brother and tries to mother him as much as I do. ?
Ours are 24 months apart. It was a lot of work in the beginning (having an infant and a "terrible 2" at the same time was not fun!). But now, at almost 2 and almost 4, they play together so well most of the time, and I'm really starting to see how nice it is to have them close together. They crack each other up!
13 months apart. We didn't plan it that way but now I am so glad that they are that close. It was very hard in the beginning but it's starting to get easier. If we have a third, we will likely TTC when the little guy turns 2. But we aren't sure on a third yet.
My first two are 23 months apart, and Bennett will be 18 months when #3 is born. ?I really like the 23 month spacing. ?Evan was old enough to not really be a baby anymore, and we could have conversations about the baby and him becoming a big brother. ?They adore each other and for the most part play really well together. ?I'm a little worried about the 18 month spacing...
Ours are 18 months apart. Wasn't planned, but now I wouldn't want it any other way. They are great playmates. And it was good not to be out of the baby phase yet. It was hard in the beginning, but you'll get into a routine.
Ours will be 23 months apart. I am 18 months older than my brother and DH is 22 months older than his brother, so it is really all we know. Hopefully it will all work out!
Mine will be 23 months apart, which is WAY closer than I wanted, but hey-what are you gunna do?! I think it'll be great! I'll get this lack of sleep stuff over with early on, not to worry about it again. That's how I look at it.
They will be 1 year and 359 days apart. We said we wanted them 2 years apart... couldn't have gotten any closer. LOL
Ideally, I would have liked another 6 months or a year, but I am 40 and dh is 48, so we wanted to be done before our high schoolers had to put us into nursing homes.
