7 mth old w/ runny nose- take to party?

we are invited to a party today and little guy was sick but now much better- except for his nose.  thoughts?

  • clear drainage, not excessive - I would go.

    colored or thick drainage, having to wipe often - I would stay home.

    any other symptoms with drainage of any color or thickness - I would probably stay home.

  • If I kept Cam home everyday that she had a little bit of clear drainage, we'd never go anywhere. For real. 
  • Day care because you have to work?  Yes, take him.

    Totally optional party for fun?  No, keep him home.  I'd be annoyed if a runny-nosed kid showed up for a party at our house.

  • If he's been fever free for 24 hours with no symptoms other than a little clear snottage I would take him. My kids have runny noses practically every day between September and April, I swear.
