I read that some of you can what part of your baby is moving around inside. Like here is a foot, there is the bum. It seems unbelievable! Dh thinks it's crazy too.

Around how many weeks were you able to tell?

I can't tell kicks or punches but I know when he is pushing his butt out. It makes me laugh because he does it constantly! I figured it out when we had an u/s and my dr told me how he was laying (although I had an idea). Probably around 30 weeks. I'm a slow learner.

both my girls are head down, so i know that the movements up high are kicks and anything i feel below are punches or hiccups.

i think i can also tell when their bums stick out because those are slower, larger movements. but as far as elbows, backs, etc, i have no idea.

and i don't think i've ever felt a flip, even though i know baby b has flipped at least twice (went from head down to breech back to head down).

I can't tell yet. I think with DS I started being able to tell at 30 weeks.

I don't know how anyone can tell definitively what they're feeling. I know she's breech based on u/s and can feel her hiccups up high and I'm constantly getting kicked in my hip bone and down low, so I know those... but I can't tell what is a knee or an elbow, etc.

I can tell when he sticks his butt out bc it's the very large round softball like thing sticking out the right side of my stomach. Anything moving down below I assume are punches and anything up high or on the left are kicks and punches. Not sure when I for sure could tell what was what, I guess around 28 weeks or so.
