14 day LP...just to screw with me

My LP has consistently been 12 days since I have been charting, with maybe 1 time with spotting on day 12 and an official 13 day LP.  I just got my FP this afternoon after a 14 day LP.  Way to get my hopes up, body.

In other news, I babysat for a friend's children last night.  I noticed that in both the Disney movie we watched and the story I read the girls for bed, someone couldn't have their own baby, so they stole a princess.  Evidently a common meme.  I called my husband last night and told him about the baby stealing in children's fiction, and his response was, "Have I just become an accomplice to something?  Are you calling me from the car with two little girls in the back?"   It was pretty funny last night when I was still in the running; now marginally less so.

    Note to self: No stealing of other people's kids....  I can kind of relate to those Lifetime movies about that now.. LOL

    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    Just to clarify - I have no intention of making off with anyone's kids, and if I did, it wouldn't be my boss's kids (the ones I was with yesterday).  Smile

    me: 39 DH: 36      dx: unexplained (ugh) 

    January 2011 - December 2012: 4 cycles w/Clomid; 9 IUIs w/Follistim & Menopur;  two IVF cycles converted to IUI (poor response/dominant follicle) 

    August 2014 IVF (antagonist protocol: Menopur, Follistim, Ganirelix, dexamethasone): 13 eggs, 9 mature, 8 fertilized w/ICSI; 0 frozen, 3 transferred day 5 = BFN

    October 2014 IVF (micro-lupron protocol: mircrolupron, Menopur, Follistim, dexamethasone): 8 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilized w/ICSI; 3 transferred day 3 = BFP! Beta 1=121; Beta 2=287; Beta 3 =678. Miscarriage @ 8w2d. :(

    Boo to FP messing with you like that! I have never had a LP of 14 days, so far, so I can see how that could be really misleading!

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    Sorry about the FP showing up, but I did LOL at the baby stealing theme.  One other thing that you might find interesting is that in so many DIsney movies, the mom is dead.  Cinderella, Snow White, Aladdin, Bambi (ok she dies, but still), The Little Mermaid, etc.  What's up with that?

    Thats funny! I always think I will find a baby on my doorstep and keep it! But kidding aside sorry Owl :(

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
