I wish I had advice for you, but all I can say is you are not alone; we're in the same boat. LO goes down like an angel for bed, even when I put him down awake.
But naptime... naptime is always a battle, and I still end up having to hold him for most, if not all naps. Hope someone else has some ideas for both of us.

sorry in the same boat here. sleeps well at night, will fall asleep in car seat if we are driving somewhere, but when it comes time for naps will not slepp on her own. wish I could help
make the room dark as possible, comfortable tempture and try the same routine as you would be bedtime at night. it took me 5 days and now my LO (7mo) goes down with no problem.

This. Is the room bright at all? Our nursary has 3 giant windows with only bamboo shades to block sun. LO was a terrible napper until I finally got some blackout curtains. He sleeps at least in an hour at 9ish, 11ish, and 1ish. This afternoon he slept for 3 hours! He's never done that before!
