they just seem big to me, anyone use them on newborns? our LOs aren't here yet so not sure what they will weigh when born but wondering how small your babies were when you used a OS CD? TIA

Typically, no. Rumparooz started fitting DS at 6 lbs and the rest didn't fit until 10-12.

The OS BGs didn't fit my niece when she was itty bitty. We're getting prefolds and covers for the beginning before we start using our BGs that we have from our DD. I'm assuming twins are born a little smaller than my 8.5 lb niece, so they might not fit into the OS diapers depending on the brand.

My OS didn't start fitting well 'till LO was about 10 lbs. If you don't want to buy NB sized dipes, go with PFs in a NB or XS cover.
You could look into Blueberry minis OS - they would fit a newborn and fit my baby until about 15 lbs - she's in one in my siggy pic, probably around 12 lbs in that pic.
We did BG XS AIO for baby A in the newborn stage. He was 7lbs12oz at birth and 7lbs7oz when we came home from the hospital and they fit perfectly. He outgrew the absorbency around 5 weeks so we switched to the OS BG and they were HUGE on him but if I crossed the Velcro tabs over they cinched down tight enough to prevent leg leaks. I'd say he was around 10-11lbs at about 5 weeks. Now (9 weeks) the OS diapers look more proportionate and fit really well. HTH!
I used BG 4.0s OS at 6 weeks, no problem, and a mix of disposables and GroVia AIO newborns before that - but my LO was 8 lbs 4 oz at birth. Most likely with twins they will be wee littles ones, so I would buy some fitteds OR there is nothing wrong with buying some Pampers Sensitive (my fave if I have to use sposies) for the first few weeks while you adjust and heal up Good luck!

Not for either of my girls. They started fitting (but still looking HUGE) around 2-3 months.
