sleeping on stomach

Anyone sleeping on your stomach yet?  This position is how I sleep best, but I'm too nervous that it may be too painful.

Re: sleeping on stomach

  • I started sleeping on my stomach around 5 weeks pp. It was a gradual progression from my side. I was so glad to finally get back on my stomach!

  • I tried it the other night and it did not feel good - but I am only 2 weeks pp.

  • i sleep halfway on my stomach halfway on my side (if that makes any sense), and i haven't had any pain at all. i was even laying on my stomach earlier talking to LO & didn't have any discomfort either (i have a little extra cushion in the mid section though so maybe that's the reason why)

  • I'm on my side or back right now. I want to be more on my side so I can keep looking at the baby in his bassinet next to me. I usually even fall asleep with my glasses on so I can see him easier lol

  • I never had incision pain sleeping on my stomach, but Luc is almost 8 m/o and I still have dull lower back pain almost ALL DAY if I sleep that way for too long.
  • I just started being able to sleep on my stomach this past week. It is still a little uncomfortable but tolerable.

  • I love sleeping on my stomach.  After my c/s it helped to lay on my stomach on a flat pillow.  It helped to cushion better around my incision.
