  Once. We put her down around 9:00 and then I check on her before I go to bed. If I end up tossing and turning for hours on end, sometimes I'll go check on her out of boredom.

  Definitely once like SweetHurricane, but if I'm not sure if he's cold or hot it would be more to check the temp in his room. I would say not more than 3.

  I check on him about 30 minutes after he's down, then not again until we go to bed. His crib is in our room so I can hear him if something's going on in the middle of the night.

  Oh, I should add that I have a video monitor. And watch it about 5,350,876 times per night.

  lmbo! I was obsessed with ours when we first brought her home. I would lay in my bed 1 room away and watch it.  Sometimes it would flicker and my heart would pound like it was a ghost, from lack of sleep! lol. im a lot better now!

   

  I think im the only one who voted 3-5! lol. I have a bad habit of making sure she is breathing. I think i get up to pee 2 or 3 times a night and i always avoid the creaky floorboards, flick on the light nd check. of course sometimes she opens her eyes a little bit and I run like the wind. lol

  THIS! for both kids. I don't trust yet that she'd stay asleep if I actually went in the room and looked at her. Sometimes if I think she's not breathing (really?) I will turn on the music on the monitor to get her to stir (lame). I always go in and check on Aiden before I go to bed. I take out all of his books, clothes and everything else he piles into his bed before nodding off to sleep.

  This is us. She sleeps in her crib in our room too but either way, I always check up on her. She goes down at 7 and we go to bed at 10-11...I check up on her every 45mins to an hour during that time. Hubby breathes like he's suffocating, so I also have to check up on him =/

  After she goes to bed, I check on her 1-3 times before I go to bed (at least once before I get into bed, but sometimes more when I pass her room or whatever). Then she's up twice at night. So maybe I should have voted for 5?
