Went to Lion King...

and I really enjoyed it!

The thing is, I noticed some things were different, but I couldn't quite put my finger on some of the changes.  One was obvious - the song "Morning Report" with Zazu was completely gone from the movie, so I'm trying to figure out what they made room for.  I didn't remember the scene with Scar & the hyenas being so long (where the green smoke is coming up), but I couldn't tell if that was new.

Any idea?  I've seen the movie several times before, but I guess I wasn't giving it my undivided attention!

    i'm so glad you posted about this!

    DH brought home a VHS from his mom's house a few weeks ago and let the boys watch it (we have a VHS player to transfer old family movies on to DVDs)... and it had the morning report in it- and I said "I don't remember this song!"... which is odd for me- i remember ALL songs- and i watched that movie about 3000x's when I was a babysitter in college.

    Now i don't feel so crazy for not knowing it! :)

    We ordered the Bluray for xmas, too.  I can't wait to take the boys to see it on Broadway - thinking in another year or so.

    I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.
