It didn't look like a whole lot of folks responded anyway, but wanted to call myself out on the deletion to avoid any drama.I didn't want my friend to ever come across the post.

    Yeah it was a really stupid post. I plan on hiring a relative of J's when we're in the philippines. Its been a long time since J was there and things have changed, areas have changed. I applaud parents who know their limits, plan ahead, make informed choices about caregivers and plan for the worst.

    hi Lanie. Yeah, I guess it sucks and I'll take ownership for that. But you're talking about hiring a relative of yours, not a complete stranger you've never met before and need to trust someone else to vet.
