3D Movies

I want to take DD to see Lion King at the movies.  She is 4yo.  Have you had success taking LO to see a 3D movie?

  • We don't do 3D.  It gives ME a headache and I can't imagine Sam wearing the glasses.

All the local theaters seems to have at least one showing per day that isn't in 3D, so that is what we are taking Samuel to tomorrow.

  • Not with 3D.  We tried Shrek last year and it was a no go.  The glasses were way too big for her.  Can't blame her -- 3D kind of gives me a headache so we stick with the regular.

  • Totally depends on the child.  Being in the dark at the movies and its loud is horrible for some kids and others like it.  I have 2 girls and we took them both to a 3D movie last winter, one loved and the other hated it.  Totally depends on the kid.
