You guys are honest so... is the name Juliana tacky?

You guys are honest and I do not want to regret my name choice. I love the name Juliana but I grew up in Portugal so I don't know if it would be a good name here in the US. My husband prefers Julia. What do you guys think?

Julia Elizabeth or Juliana Grace?

I think Juliana is beautiful. You'd be great with either choice.

Juliana Grace is better though IMO. Juliana (or Julia) Elizabeth is a bit of a mouth full.

Well I like it quite a bit

(see siggy) I like Julia too, but do not like Julie at all. We call DD Jules or Julesy for short, her minute is Louise, but Grace sounds nice.

I have a Julia and it is not all that popular. It's number 55 (to me if it isn't 25 or better it's not popular). I HATE Julie though and we call her Jules (or Goose or Muffin LMAO)

I like Juliana just as much though, I just wanted a really classic girls name.

Her middle name is not at all classic though and I like it that way

Juliana Grace is beautiful. As PP have said there is many options for nicknames like Jules, Julie, Julia if you or LO (when she is older) prefers.

I love Juliana! It's romantic, but also gives her the flexibiliity to go with a few nicknames later in life if she wants to. :-)

I am a music teacher at an elementary school and I have a lot of little girls named Juliana. I think it's a beautiful name and not at all uncommon here in the US.

My sister's name is Juliana Carmi (pronounced Car-me) so I am partial to Juliana. I think it is a beautiful name. I have to AW here because I am so proud of her...she is doing her first year of an OBGYN residency and will be the doctor delivering our LO. Makes me smile just thinking of it. Big Smile

Why on earth would that name even be tacky? I dont mean to be rude but look up the meaning and it makes no sense whatsoever...

the only tacky name i can think of is Neveah. yuck.

i like Juliana! very feminine. but i like Elizabeth as the middle name. Grace is pretty too, but doesn't flow as well.
