Similac Sensitive for Spit-Up...anyone use this?

We are using Similac Spit-Up on kind of a trial basis and I haven't been able to find the powder anywhere. We are currently using the ready to feed 1 quart bottles, but if we decide to continue using Similac I would really prefer to buy powder.

Is anyone using this kind? What do you think of it? And where/what form are you buying it?

  • We used this for a month or 2 when she started formula.  I switched her to the walmart brand though.  It is so much cheaper and it is the same thing.

Same here. We use the Parent's Choice now. DD eats it very well but I didn't really notice a difference in her spitting up until I went dairy-free with the bm portion of her feedings. I guess if I were only formula feeding her it would have been just fine though.

  • Are you using the Parent's Choice powder or do they have a ready to feed option too? We've tried the powder and I have trouble with it not mixing.

  • We use it and we can buy it at Wal-Mart, Kroger, Rite Aid, and I have also seen it at Walgreens. I didn't really notice that much of a difference with the spit up but that is probably because LO has reflux. He was started on Zantac and that made a HUGE difference!

  • We tried it since we are supplementing with it and it gave DD diarrhea every time.  I cut diary from my diet to help with the gas, but she does better on regular Simliac.  Weird, I know.  I think I saw it at BRU and TRU.
  • It worked wonders for us. That was the 4th formula we tried and it was the miracle. We actually use the generic brand from Target.
  • We use it for DS.  I purchase it at BJs.  It is a huge container and  BJs allows coupons.  It is also cheaper there than at Sam's club.
  • We use Similac Sensitive, but for fussiness & gas ( I think the container is orange). I saw the Sensitive for Spit-Up at my local WalMart, so you might want to check there.
  • I did find it at Walmart, thanks for the suggestions everyone!
