5 Month Old - Ounces?

My guys is breastfed. How many ounces per bottle/how often does your LO eat when given a bottle (working mom)?  He has been wanting more lately, so we are slowly moving up to 6 ounces.  Is that too much?

    not sure if this helps, but DS is FF and almost 5 months. He drinks 6 oz every 3-4 hours.

    My DS is 4.5 months, formula fed and takes 6 oz every 4 or so hrs, except at night (he's STTN).

    I have heard formula fed babies take more?  Maybe I am wrong?

    If he keeps drinking and doesn't spit up after finishing, it's not too much.
    My LO gets 6 oz every 4 hours, except at night.

    According to my SO, DS eats 8oz every 4 hours when I'm at work!

    I EP. LO usually takes 5 oz, but occasionally she'll want an extra oz or 2.

    My 4 month old nurses and gets formula. When ever she takes a bottle, she has 4 oz.

    We EP and do 4 oz bottles (thickened). I don't know if we are kicking off 4mw (she will be 4 months on the 24th) or what but, the last two days at day care she has ran out of milk. I think I am going to move her up to 5 ozs and see how that goes.

    Oh, and she eats about every three hours. No STTN here!

    DD is 4 months and only takes 4oz tops. Pretty sure that is on the lower end though.

    I BF and she gets a pumped bottle occasionally when I am gone.

    Mine takes about 5oz of  breast milk each bottle at daycare.  If I gave him more he probably would eat more though!

    I feel that all babies are different when it comes to eating. mine eats about 4 oz every 2-3 hours, sometimes if she goes longer thatn 3 hours she will eat 6 or 7. at night she gets a bottle before bed then she sttn. sometimes she only wants 3 oz at a feeding, it depends on her mood. she has two bottom teeth already and is teething again, so sometimes she doe snot feel like eating. sometimes she eat very little during the day and in the eveing makes up for it. I really don't think it matters how much they get at a feeding as long as they get the amount of ozs they are suppose tpo for the day, Mine drinks between 28-34 oz a day and the dr said he really wants her to not get too much more than 32 oz a day. we also started feeding her solids. she can eat a jar or two a day.

    My EBF daughter drinks a 6 oz bottle every 2.5-3 hrs while at daycare. We started out with 4 oz bottles when I first returned to work, but she never seemed satisfied after a feeding.

    Same for my 5.5 month old daughter. She sometimes even takes 8 oz.

    My daughter is 5 months 2 days now.  She probably weighs about 16-17 lbs ( need to weigh her).  When I pump, I usually have about 3-4 oz per breast and I just bag and freeze it like that in two servings.  So LO gets anywhere between 3 and 4 oz sometimes a lil more every 2-3 hours.  I will be curious how she does at her 6 month appt.  She has always been in the top end of the charts for weight and height but she has only been taking a bottle for a few weeks now, since I went back to work..
