Snuza vs Angelcare vs Video Monitor?

I'm trying to decide on a monitor and would love any feedback. I'm leaning toward the Snuza right now. Thoughts?

We love our snuza, so much better and more recommended than the angel care. It's portable, connects to the baby's diaper and ummm little to no false alarms. It actually tries to wake baby up if they go into deep sleep to get their breathing going and you get notified of it in the morning if it was successful, and how many times for the night it did that

. We don't have angel care nor did we want it.

We also don't have a video monitor because we co-slept but even during the day, if she cries, we'd attend to her immediately as that means she wants/ needs something. We wouldn't use a monitor to look at her crying and leave her there crying, so we figured we wouldn't need it if we plan to attend to her when she cries. We really did not ever feel the need for it these past nine months. The snuza was for peace of mind and was well worth it!

Thank you! The vibration of the Snuza was one thing that really drew me. We'll also be co-sleeping & what you say about the video monitor makes sense.

fyi - if you wanted one, you could do the angelcare video monitor. I don't know anything about the Snuza, so can't compare the 2 for you.

I thought the angel care was a piece of junk. I tried every sensitivity setting, adjusted it, followed the directions, etc. It always showed me that it picked up DS' movement, but there were several times I picked him up and forgot to turn it off and the alarm sounded hours later. Not the protection I'm looking for. I love our video monitor. DS is a noisy sleeper and it allows me to see if he is waking or just moving around and making noise.

snuza halo has the vibration mode and i belive the go does not. i have 2 of the halo's, love it.

We have both the snuza and angelcare monitor (not the video). We use both and like both. If you get the snuza it is recommended that you get a monitor to hear into the babies room in case the alarm goes off or if the baby cries. The snuza is great for portability and it's easy to use but it needs an additional monitor so that you can hear. The angelcare is a great stationary monitor.?

It is not recommended to use it in a device that moves (ie: swing, carseat, etc.) as it will pick up the movement motion of the device.?

This was such a great question! I had my heart set on the Angelcare b/c I have a mild case of sleep apena, but now after looking into the Snuza, DH & I are gonna register for that one instead!
