At LO's 4 month appt, the pedi gave the go ahead to exersaucers, jumparoo's etc. as long as they can hold their heads up and have good core control, DD loves to stand so she loves the jumparoo, we put puzzle piece floor mats under her feet because her feet barely touch. She loves it, it was fun to watch her figure out that she could jump!
We started at just after 3 months because DS insists on being held upright over my shoulder all the time and started crying every time I put him in anything that reclined. The jumperoo and exersaucer are PERFECT for him. He loves standing and grabbing at all of the little toys way more than he ever liked hanging out in the swing, bouncer, or activity mat.
if they can sit up independently (like without being supported) then they can use it. Probably around the 6 month mark or so.
I disagree. Daycare actually put DS in the exersaucer before we did the jumperoo. When I saw him in the exersaucer, we started using the walker and jumperoo at home. We did it around the 4 month mark when he could sit up with support (like with our hands or with the bumbo).
DD has been going in hers for about 3 weeks now. So since 14 weeks. Then she would just sit there. Now she is starting to play with stuff a little, no bouncing yet but she loves the lights and music....she's 17 weeks.
