How did you meet your significant other?

We met in the second grade, and we also lived across the street from each other. He was the little boy that used to beat me up, spit on me and chase me home from school. He moved away in the 5th grade and we didn't see each other again until we were 23. I found him online, wrote to him and we started talking. Now we have our little boy Oliver who is 8 months old.

We met at a friends party 3 days after I graduated high school. His brother was dating on of my friends that was there and DH was home on leave so he tagged along. He held my legs so I could do a keg stand and later his brother came over to me, told me his brother (DH) thought I was cute, and dragged me over to DH to talk to him. We sat outside and sang Sublime for a good 2 hours then he drove me to meet the guy I was somewhat dating at the time. Somewhere in there he got my number and texted me a few days later.

We met on an online message board. He was attracted to me because I like baseball. We lived on opposite sides of the country (and I was only 17) so we talked online for almost a year before we met IRL. Been together 8 years now

We met at a bar. I was tagging along with a friend of mine and her boyfriend was in a band playing that night. H was the singer of that band. We chit chatted and he got my number.

Played Yahoo euchre together once and realized we were from the same smal town, but I had a bf and he was newly divorced. Very platonic for awhile. Then one saturday night 3 years later we were online at the same time about midnight. Both bored, he invited me over to go in the hot tub, and the rest is history.

FTR- I hope Whitney never wants to meet someone online, because I will have a heart attack or go along with her. lol

LOL. My mom bought me my plane ticket to go meet DH for the first time. I went by myself and stayed in a hotel. We told the rest of my family that I was going out there to look at colleges because they would've sh!t their pants if they knew it was to go meet a guy from the internet.

LOL, H's gma once asked how we met, and my face turned all red. We will have ben together 8 years also, this Oct. Back then I dont know if it was as common and accepted.
