NBR: Traveling to Altanta

Hey Ladies, I'm coming to Atlanta on Monday for a business trip. I'll have two evenings in town and I would like some dinner recommendations. I'll be in the Stone Mountain area for work and my hotel is around Sandy Springs. Where are your favorite places to eat? If it's worth the drive, I don't mind going out of the area we're staying in. Thanks!

    Since you're from Austin, you might like restaurants in Decatur. Decatur is about 20 minutes from Stone Mountain, almost a straight shot west on US 78. A small walkable city with some of the best restaurants in town ... Cakes & Ale, No. 246, Iberian Pig, Cafe Alsace to name a few. Plus great pubs, including the Leon's Full Service (gastro pub) Brickstore and Square Pub.

    i second the decatur love, especially the iberian pig. they have iberian ham, which is almost impossible to get in the U.S. and their food is amazing!
