We have narrowed it down to two names Maya (my-uh) or Alexa but cant decide which we like best. We do not have middle names yet and both names go with our last name that starts with a Y. Thanks for your input

I think the double y sound with Maya Y would be a bit of a tongue twister and a bit too "matchy" for my tastes. Ex. "Maya Young" has a really strong "yaya" sound to it that doesn't appeal to me, but that's just my 2 cents.

I like Maya better, Alexa is NMS (but I do love Alexandra).

Maya, Maya, Maya! It's one of my favorites. Interestingly enough, Alexa is one of my least favorite names.

Maya hands down. I don't like the Alexa/Alexis/Lexie names.
