Yep! I had a Serbian friend growing up named Milica so it looks totally fine to me. Familiar even. Pronounced Me-lee-tsah.

That's what I was wondering - if it was translated from Cyrillic without getting translated into English (written in Cyrillic with Latin letters). That's the only way it makes sense.
This. I have a friend named Milica that is Serbian. I really like it. Pronouncing it as Melissa is just bad.
