Second Ultrasound (mixed emotions)

We got to see the fetal pole today but not heartbeat.  My RE thinks I am 6w2d to 6w4d.  The nurses and my RE think that we were just a few days early for the heartbeat.  I have to go back on Tuesday to make sure there is a heartbeat.  If there is not, then there is a problem.  I wish they didn't tell me that!  When did you ladies see the heartbeat?

They did tell me that my spotting was normal.  It hasn't gotten worse.  If it does and turns red, I have to get a shot because my hubby and I have opposite blood types.  Hopefully this will not have to happen.

    We didn't see a hb until 7 weeks. Some REs won't even do one until then. I know it's hard, but hang in there! I'm sure it was just too early.

    We saw a heartbeat at 7w3d. My RE didn't want to do it any earlier than that in case it would be too early to see anything. GL with your u/s Tuesday!

    After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!

    My RE won't do an U/S until 7w for that reason.

    Good luck on Tuesday!

    I go back on Monday for u/s #2.  We are hoping to see a heartbeat then.  I had my first u/s this past Monday at 6 weeks and there wasn't a heartbeat yet.  My RE told me the same thing.  It was probably too early to see what at this appointment, but that we had to see one at the next appointment or there was a problem.  I have to admit, I'm freaking out about it!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    We saw the heartbeat at 6w5d.  A few days can make all the difference this early.  I hope your u/s goes well on Tuesday! GL!

    Everything I have read says the heartbeat can show up anywhere between 6 and 7 weeks, so please don't lose hope yet.  I will keep my fingers crossed for you to get good news on Tuesday.  (((Hugs)))

    RE wanted me to come in around 6 weeks or so to see heartbeat, but I insisted on waiting until 7 weeks to come in for that u/s.  I was nervous because of all my previous pg losses, so RE agreed to let me wait.  So we saw heartbeat at 7w0d.  Good luck!  I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry.  And yes, you may even be just a few hours early to see the heartbeat.  I bet when you go back next week that you'll see a nice heartbeat!  Good luck!

    I was in at 6wks 3 days and there was no HB... I didn't hear a HB until 7 weeks 4 days.

    I seen mine at 6w2d, but my Dr did tell me not to worry if we didn't see one, because it might be too early still..please dont lose hope, I know its so hard. I had no idea how nerve wracking the first few weeks of pregnancy are ((Hugs))

    This was the case for me as well. Hang in there its very early. good luck

    Praying for your LO!  We had a u/s at exactly 6 weeks and saw the hb, but I've heard of girls who were at the end of their 6th week who didn't see a hb and later there was one. Some babies are just slow growers.

    This! we were able to see and hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks 5 days, but they told us that oftentimes you don't get to hear or see it that early. Good luck with your next ultrasound!

    Thanks ladies!  I hope my LO is just a little lazy and will catch up and stop scaring me.  I have never wanted to weekend to end so quickly :-).
