Birth Centers / Midwives in Spring

Hi,

I just found out that I am pregnant with my first and my DH and I have decided on a natural birth and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations?  I am interviewing the Nativiti Birth Center and the Katy Birth Center this week - has anyone had any experience with them?  Or if you did a home birth, who did you use for your midwife?

    I asked a friend... she saw Chantel Ashley for a well woman exam before she got pregnant last time.  She asked her a ton of questions, and liked her a LOT, but ended up going with the midwives at Nativiti Birthing Center because she wasn't entirely comfortable with the doctors at NW Women's being Chantel's backup.  She LOVED Nativiti and was very happy with her decision... though her DD (#3) ended up being born on her bedroom floor when she went REALLY fast.

    I work within view of Nativiti and I can tell you that they seem very popular.  Their parking lot is always packed.

    You could also check out Reunion in Kingwood. I had my baby there and had a great experience.
