  We just started potty training DD a few months ago at 25 months and used the 3 day potty training method found here at babycenter.com  My friend potty trained 2 of her kids before 2 using this method  https://www.babycenter.com/0_potty-training-in-three-days-or-less_10310078.bc

  My DD did great with it. Quite a while before I planned on starting, I bought a potty just to leave around the house and told her what it was, what it was for, etc.

  I would read it to her occasionally and every so often I would tell her "pretty soon we're going to say bye-bye to diapers!"
