As in Bill Paxton? Or as in Brangelina's son named Pax?
Either way, no.
Actually neither. I overheard a mom at a store calling out to her son and his name was Paxton and I kinda liked it. I did think it was pretty trendy though as a PP mentioned. Not sure DH and I could pull off that trendy of a name

Always thought I'd be a "mom of many"--now just hoping to be a "mom of one or two more!"
This was one of the two names I was considering for a boy... but the only reason was because it's my maiden name. Someone said it's a bit cutesy, and they can't see a grown adult with the name Paxton, and I agreed and dropped it.
I kind of like it, too, but I like Angelina Jolie's names, usually. It does remind me of Bill Paxton too. I also liked "Pixley" as a name for awhile, but decided against it.

When I don't work in a high enough resolution in Photoshop sometimes my pictures look Pixley.

Agree. And I am not a fan of most last names as first names.

I totally forgot they had a boy named Pax. Is he just Pax or is he Paxton?
Anyway I go back and forth with it. I doubt we would use it b/c like I said before we may not be trendy enough to have a kid with that name!
