Babies: 3 - 6 Months

if you used a snoogle/ pregnancy pillow....

Are you still using it?

When P was born, I threw the snoogle in the guest room so I could nurse him in bed more easily and get back to cuddling with the hubby Wink

We recently had a house guest and I'm done nursing, so I put it back in my bed because I didn't know what else to do with it. Well, now i'm hooked!  It is so freikin comfy!!! Poor hubby! hahahah

Re: if you used a snoogle/ pregnancy pillow....

  • No, I think DH would have fought me if I tried to keep using it - that combined with the 3-4 pillows I needed gave him very little bed space :). I am still using at least 3 pillows, but I do kind of miss my pregnancy pillow. Guess it will just stay in the closet until next time.

  • I also ditched it after we came home the hospital, but after a month or so, my back was hurting every day. I got the snoogle back out and have been using it ever since. I don't think DH is too thrilled.

  • I used it for a few weeks, but I don't anymore.  I am giving it to our niece who is pregnant now (she's 21 - DH's older sisters daughter).  But I miss it, I got soooo comfy with it!

  • I was so happy to get that thing out of our bed after DD was born. I am a back sleeper so the snoogle had to go. I still need to figure out where to store it because it is so bulky.

  • I also threw mine in the guest room when DS was born. I actually just pulled it out last week because I was trying to get comfortable in bed with DS and I've been sleeping with it the past few nights. I like it, but it takes up too much space.

  • Mine is still in our bed but it is because my DH uses it! I am a back sleeper so I don't really like it when I am not pregnant. I had to pry it away from DH though even when I was pregnant and needed it.
  • I put it away when DD was born b/c I had a c/s and was sleeping on my back, but I took it out again recently because my back/hips have been bothering me when I sleep and it is soooo comfy! Poor hubby indeed.

  • I've been thinking of taking mine out again to use while side-lying nursing.  The other day as I put a pillow behind my back, between my legs, and under my head while side-lying, I realized, "Oh wait, I have a single pillow that will do all this..."  Love my snoogle!

  • Yup! I have three bosom baby pillows- one for sleeping, one for nursing at home, and one in the car for going out! Those things are AMAZING.

  • I still use mine. In fact I was just thinking about it last night and wondered if anyone else used theirs. Sounds like you had the same idea.

  • I have a hate relationship with that thing. The last couple weeks of pregnaancy I started to despise it. You know...when it was hard to get in and out of bed and it was in my freaking way. I was happy to toss that beast into the closet.
  • Last night was the first night that I slept without it since April.  I'm trying to stop using it because it takes up so much room and puts a barrier between me and DH but it is so comfortable and it helps my back.  We'll see how night number two goes.
