Released from RE and already had 1st OB appt!

What a whirlwind couple of days! We were released from our RE on Monday. I couldn't call and set up my first OB appt until Tuesday because they were closed by the time we got home from RE's office. I called to make the appt on Tuesday and they had us come in for our first OB appt yesterday! Everything happened so quickly. I was expecting to have to wait a couple of weeks.

The OB appt went well. They took blood (6 tubes!), I had a dating u/s, a pap, breast and pelvic exam and we talked to the OB. My appt was at 11:45 and when I left it was 2pm! I didn't realize I had been in the office for so long. I loved the OB and office though so I am happy about that. Everything looks good so far. We are measuring on track. They dated me as 7w1d yesterday and baby's hb was 136 up from 126 on Monday at RE's office. They also went over all of the first trimester screening tests for me to think about. I have to let them know at my next appt which is Oct. 20th if I do decide to do any of the screenings. Because of family history of diabetes they are screening me early for gestational diabetes. Oct 20th seems so far away! I guess I got spoiled with the every other day RE visits :)

I'm still nervous about m/c but I think after our next visit at 12 weeks I can relax a little more-I sure hope so! 

Anyway, just wanted to share! :) 

Many failed IUI's (medicated and unmedicated) IVF#1-Micro-dose Lupron protocol: BFN IVF#2-Antagonist Protocol-transferred 1 8-cell grade A embryo: BFP! Missed Miscarriage- D&C 4/2011 IVF#3-Antagonist protocol again but no bcp's: August 2011 DOR, endo and cervical stenosis ER 8/16/11 3 er 3 fert w/icsi ET 8/19/11-assisted hatching- transferred (2) 8 cell embryos! 9/1/11=Beta#1=824 9/6/11=Beta#2=7337

    Glad you had such a great first apt. It's really important to like you OB. Everything sounds great, enjoy your pregnancy!

    Congrats on graduating, I'm glad you had a great OB visit!  The first one was the longest until mine today, but it was pretty detailed at this point too.  Hope time flies by til your next appt.  :)
