those with LONG sleepers...?

sooo M normally sleeps 10-11 hours...though we just did 12!! ahh soo excited.

just wanted to check and see if others with long sleepers feed more frequently during the day to make up for the lack of night/early morning feeds.  My last feeding was right 730ish (but it was a lazy feed) and I'll feed him now (8:15).  Then normally he'll eat every 2.5 hours during the day. 

Sound right??  I'm not too worried about it but it seemed logical to me that he'd need to eat more often.  ...right?

    My daughter still eats every three hours, but she drinks over 8 oz each time.  She just turned 4 months.

    My LO falls asleep between seven and eight and usually sleeps till eight thirty in the morning. I feed her every three hours and she is taking about 5 oz. But her last bottle I give to her at eleven when she is already asleep. This routine has worked out for almost two months now.

    DS nurses at 6:30-7pm and then I nurse him to sleep at 8:30pm.  He sleeps until 6:30am.  When he wakes I nurse him.  The other 3 feedings during the day (9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm) are at daycare and he gets 5oz in each bottle.  So, in total, he's getting about 25-28oz every day.  He always seems satisfied, so I'm not worried.

    Mine tends to eat a lot in the morning.  She will have 5 oz around 5am & then go back to sleep.  Around 7:30ish when she wakes up for the day she will drink a 6oz bottle.  Then around 10:00is she is drinking another 6oz bottle.  After that she self regulates and will eat every 3 - 4 hours.  But yours sounds about right to me...the way I see it - if they STTN I'll feed her however much she wants during the day.Wink

    DD has 6 oz when she wakes up, between 7:30 and 8 then 5oz ever 3 hours, and for her last bottle at about 7:45 she has between 6 and 7 oz, there are days she will want more during the day (usually only another oz) but we have been on this schedule for about 2 months now and it's worked!
