It's working!

I went to see an acupuncturist for the 1st time last week.  She listened to my TTC story, looked at my calendar of AF, +OPK dates for the last 6 months and came to the conclusion that I was Ovulating too early (usually CD10) for my cycle.  I started some herbs and have seen her a total of 2 times for the ac.  Today is CD12 and I still have not gotten my +OPK but its getting closer and closer to being a positive each day.  I am so excited that whatever she is doing is working!

 Now if only dh and I can do our part of the job and get it done this month!  After 25 months of TTC I am READY for a new thing to obsess over!  :)

    ttc since 2/2010 ~
    me (36): Hypothyroid (on Levothroid), low vit. d, borderline/high fsh (day 3: between 7-10) (day 10: 13 during CCCT), AFC: 14
    dh (31): awesome (minus one sample with agglutination)
    Diagnosis:possible DOR and/or unexplained + elevated NK cells + MTHFR (C677T - one copy)

    MAY 2011 - FEB 2012 - 3 injectable IUI's with numerous cancellations due to high TSH levels
    MAY 2012 - onto IVF/ICSI (Antagonist Protocol) on BCP and Folgard (3 week delay - cyst - boooo) 5/21 start stims 5/30 ER 11R 8M 3F 6/2 3DT of 3 6/12 Beta #1 83 | 6/14 Beta #2 196 | 6/21 Beta #3 3818 | 6/28 Beta #4 22,213 | 7/2 1st U/S - 2 on board! 8/24 CVS reveals that we have a boy AND a girl on board!

    Healthy baby boy and girl born in February, 2013 at 38 weeks and 2 days!

    TTC since 11/09
    me: 39 DH: 36      dx: unexplained (ugh) 

    January 2011 - December 2012: 4 cycles w/Clomid; 9 IUIs w/Follistim & Menopur;  two IVF cycles converted to IUI (poor response/dominant follicle) 

    August 2014 IVF (antagonist protocol: Menopur, Follistim, Ganirelix, dexamethasone): 13 eggs, 9 mature, 8 fertilized w/ICSI; 0 frozen, 3 transferred day 5 = BFN

    October 2014 IVF (micro-lupron protocol: mircrolupron, Menopur, Follistim, dexamethasone): 8 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilized w/ICSI; 3 transferred day 3 = BFP! Beta 1=121; Beta 2=287; Beta 3 =678. Miscarriage @ 8w2d. :(

    Thanks all.  I know its silly to be so excited over changing my O day but I really feel like this will help.. although dh totally rained on my parade by saying "I am sure you ovulated on the correct day at least some of the months while we have been trying.." Yeah thanks Mr. Negative!

    llama-  What can you do??  Men??  Don't let him rain on your parade.  Be happy cuz you deserve it!!!  Just glad you are seeing improvement with the accupuncture.  Sending you good baby vibes!!!  Keep us posted.Wink
