Home from L&D

So I got sent to L&D yesterday b/c my BP was high when I went for my OB appt. There was much back and forth about going ahead and delivering but they need a reason to do it prior to 37 weeks so they did a 24 hour urine test that came back just fine so they sent me home.

I'm so happy to be home but here's the thing...

I was scheduled for a c-section at 11 a.m. tomorrow. At my OB appt I told her that Baby B had turned head down in the last week and so we decided to try an induction. When the nurse released me today she said "we'll call you tomorrow and tell you when to come in, we have to have an open room" I feel like I just got blown off after a bad date. Seriously what if they don't call? I'm pissed b/c earlier in the day they gave me the option of just staying in the hospital and I said no I'd love to go home and shower and get my things together and I'll be back in the morning. I did tell my Dr I would have a psychotic break if I had to go one day longer....

I'm sorry they're stringing you along like that, but I would have made the same decision if I were you. Hopefully they'll call soon.

oh gosh, i hope they call you tomorrow. that is so mean to do, esp. to a twin mama.

i have my induction scheduled for 38w1d - if i make it that long and they tell me the day before that i might not be able to come in, i will go BSC on them!

aww... enjoy the last couple of hours as 2, tomorrow you will become 4. Good luck and enjoy your evening!! I can't wait to see and hear about your babies!
