Just had my work baby shower

I can't believe how generous everyone was!  I got lots of really cute stuff and a crazy big gift card to BRU!  It's such a weird/awesome feeling to have it be my turn for a shower at work. 

 

It's been a good day:)  Yay!

    That's great! I'm glad your shower went well. My work shower is in a couple of weeks. My office kept asking what I wanted them to get me - either one big gift or just individual gifts. I kept saying it doesn't matter becuase I don't want to tell them what to get me...but eventually I caved and told them I would rather them each just get me something individually since I don't really have a lot of the small stuff I need (bottles, diapers, wipes, pacis, sheets, etc.).

    after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!

    That's so great! It's so good to have a supportive work environment. Mine is in a couple of weeks and I am really looking forward to it.



    4 Clomid cycles BFN's,3 injectible cycles BFN, 3 failed IUI's
    Hystroscopy to remove cysts 11/2010
    IVF #1 with ICSI Graydon Dane born Oct. 23, 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks.
    Surprise BFP 10/9/12. Blighted ovum at 8wks. D&C 11/1/12.

    That's great!  I had my work shower on Tuesday and was so excited to finally have my turn since I've planned my two other female coworkers' showers over the years.  It was great and I can't believe all they got for me and baby!  :)

    Stopped BCPs December 2008 TTC since June 2009 6 unsuccessful Clomid cycles Dx Annovulatory due to PCOS January 2010 DH-perfect 4 unsuccessful IUIs Began Lupron July 7 for first IVF IVF cancelled; overstimulation and coasting lead to huge drop in E2 New testing with an Endocrinologist...perhaps a new diagnosis... So, not PCOS but Hashimoto's Thyroiditis November 2010 After a looong break, started seeing a new RE. Gearing up for IVF 1.2. Beta 1=197!! BabyFruit Ticker image
