Has anyone had major bloating at 8 weeks? I have been so bloated since about 5 weeks....any suggestions to help with bloating? I know I can't be showing this early on.
First timer at this, and my husband rubbed my tummy the other day and said aaww you're totally showing! But I'm only 6 weeks!!
I've been bloated for at least 2 weeks off and on even though i've been trying to drinkin more water and eat less salt. The other thing I noticed, the minute i eat my tummy bloats out and you'd swear i was 5 months pregnant! Lately I've been trying to avoid foods that make you gassy and still avoiding salt, it helps a little. I'm going to be talking to my doc about maybe anti-bloat/ gas supplements like tums or beano, something to consider if its safe. But just try and stay upbeat and deal with it as best as you can. I guess it's all a part of the process!
The bloating is no fun. Along with salt, don't eat a lot of raw onions or anything else that causes bloating. Staying hydrated is always a plus. Fiber will also help. Try eating smaller meals more frequently. And probiotics will help break down food better, so yogurt or you can talk to your ob about a powder form that you can mix in a smoothie or something. And exercising will help.
I agree; it's crazy! I'm almost 9 weeks, so I shouldn't be "showing" yet. I know I'm not really; it's all bloating, and my stomach is starting to change shape. (The top is puffing out more? and my usual pooch is even poochier. lol.) Anyway, when I eat, it's insane. I feel like I should walk around with my hand on my belly and people could potentially say "Aw, so cute; are you due next month?" LOL!

agreed! totally bloated! I"ve always had problems with it, but it seems worse now. Last night I thought I was 6 months pregnant! It's upsetting for sure.
I have been really bloated and have found that if I eat just a little bit every few hours as opposed to actual meals, it helps a great deal. Also, I upped my water and have been trying to work out at least 3-4 times a week. All of this has really, really helped. I am back to having my pants fit comfortably!

I noticed this last night. A little after eating dinner, I had a bloated belly. It was hysterical!
