When DD was born everyone raved about how clear her skin was. They may have jinxed us because now my little lovie has little pimples on her face

How long until it clears up?

Our NB pics were at a month and he is covered in pimples. I think it lasted a few weeks.

We had the same thing happen. Ethan's showed up about 2 weeks after birth and it was so bad we took him in. After his pedi gave us a prescription cortizone, it cleared up in a few weeks.

Not too long, a few weeks I think. Harry had it BAD. But then I forgot all about it until I looked at some old pic recently.

Dh also swears that whenever they pooped, the acne got better. Whateves.

My DD has that too. According to my Baby 411 book, it should clear up by eight weeks.

Great question! Our DD has had an explosion of baby acne beginning at six weeks and we are eight weeks on Tuesday. I'm hoping it is gone soon!

Mine started with the acne at about 3 wks and was gone about at 6 wks or so. He's almost 2 months and his skin is clear again. I asked my dr about treating it and he said there isn't really a need and I'd rather not give/put medicine on him that isn't a necessity.

Henry had it bad the first few weeks. We ordered proactive and it cleared right up. Hehe. Seriously, we just let it run it's course and made sure we used mild detergents (like Dreft) in case of a skin allergy.
