Hi Ladies!
So I typically don't do a lot of posting but I had to come here for some thoughts...
My little guy is 6 months old, he was EBF until 4 months then we gradually switched to the Costco brand of infant formula. He has been doing great on it. While at an appointment to get his ear checked at 5.5 months the doctor gave us the okay to give him stage 2 foods (he has been on baby food since 4.5 months). Well this week the weirdest thing started happening, his poop stopped smelling! He still goes 2-4 times a day but we are having to check him constantly to make sure he is not poopy. I am sure I just have new mom anxiety but do you think I should worry? I do not want to be the mom that calls our doctor and the nurse chuckles at me...
Re: Baby Poop...what do you think?
Maybe you got immune to the smell?
Are you getting a cold or can you smell other things?
We've taken to checking DS frequently. He used be a drama king when it came pooping but lately, he's become a ninja pooper.
Oh, and H learned the exersaucer/jumper + poopy diaper lesson. Completely unrelated to your question, but hilarious nonetheless.

it's so funny you mention this because Ben goes through phases where his doesn't stink either. even his DC commented on it to me and like srs mentioned, he's started becoming a ninja pooper too...where he used to grunt and carry on and get all red in the face, now he is super stealth about it AND it doesn't smell. bad combo.
don't get me wrong, sometimes it does smell...and when it smells, it REAAAAAAALLYsmells good god, but then sometimes it doesn't...it's a crap shoot....LMAO! a crap shoot!
Like it really doesn't smell at all, or you just don't really noticed 'cause you've adapted to it? Smell-less poops would be O.K. with me. DD's poops don't smell like breastmilk poops anymore; it's a totally different smell since she's been on solids.
Anyway, I don't think your LO's poop situation is a cause for concern unless LO is constipated, and it certainly doesn't seem like it, from what you've described.
