DD has been sleeping in her own bedroom since she was 7 weeks old. She had previously been sleeping in an Arm's Reach Co-sleeper next to my bed, but we randomly decided to try out her crib one night and she started sleeping much longer stretches during the night before waking to eat (from 4 hours to between 5-7 hours). For the past week or so, she's been waking up twice during the night, instead of once. It also seems much more difficult to put her back to bed after she eats b/c I was changing her diaper after each feeding. I stopped changing her diapers if they are just wet but without poop b/c changing the diapers was really waking her up. Her diapers are quite heavy if I don't change her between 9 pm and 6 am and now I'm starting to wonder if her wet diapers are the reason for her waking up more than one time during the night, like she used to do? I've only been able to find overnight diapers that are size 3+ and she only wears a size 2, but I'm considering buying one pack of the size 3 overnights to see if they will work for her.I'm returning to work on October 3rd and I'm considering moving her back into the co-sleeper (it's okay for weight up to 23 pounds). Has anyone else done this? Is this is a crazy idea? I figure if she's going to be waking up every 3-4 hours again, that it would be much easier for me to feed her in the side-lying position and try to transfer her right back to the co-sleeper after she's done eating. She *normally* passes right out after she eats so long as I don't do a diaper change. I'm just trying to figure out a way to maximize the amount of sleep I will be able to get once I return to work!

Re: XP June 2011: Anyone move baby from their room back to yours?
I personally wouldn't move her back just because it seems like a step backwards. My LO has also been having issues with sleep starting around 3 months and we're assuming it's just a phase and trying to push through it.
Re: night diapers. I was just at the store last night looking for overnight diapers but my LO is also still in size 2's. I ended up getting a pack of Pampers Baby Dry because it said on the package "up to 12 hours" (we normally use the normal Pampers Swaddlers). LO slept 9 hours last night and the diaper was FULL but seemed drier. I may try a size 3 also to see if that's better.
