Pregnant after IF

XP: Protein S Deficiency?

Hi ladies, I'm wandering over from the IF board and hope you can help me with some questions. I received part of my RPL panel results back and it showed That I have a Protein S deficiency. If you also have this defiency, what is your treatment protocol? Any recs on where to read good info on this, particularly when IVF is used? Thanks in advance!

I have this (and low protein C) but I'm still not sure what it means. lol. It all started with this "sludge blood" thing, and some weird transient positive APA's, etc. and my hemo doc ran a ton of tests, and this was on there. (I've since put a call in to clarify, but he's out of the country for a while)

I've had several pregnancy losses, and I believe that this is main factor to them, whatever it *IS* that I have.

I've had the best pregnancy to date (knock wood 10 weeks today with twins!) and I believe it's HUGELY in part to a THERAPEUTIC LEVEL of lovenox, which is 1mg/kg BID, and monitored with the anti-Xa test monthly. (prophylactic levels tend to be the standard 40mg BID which RE's throw at many gals.)

Sorry, clear as mud I'm sure, but for ME, I think the low Protein S (and C) mean something to my ability to carry a pregnancy. So check more into it, I guess is what I'm saying.  GL !
