Remember when I had the question about scrambled eggs a while back and how I was so nervous about getting two kids out of the door in the morning? You told me that it's really not that much harder than getting one out of the door.
Well, you were definitely right! I think that at the time, I was nervous because all summer we were not really on a schedule. Now that I've been back at work for over a month, I feel like most mornings it's a piece of cake. There have even been two times where DH was OOT and I got both kids up and out of the door all by myself and I still got to work on time.
Anyway, I just had to tell you that because I think of you sometimes. I appreciate you setting me straight :-)
Re: Artslvr - You were right!
It's so true. And honestly, I don't really have to get up any earlier than I did with one kid. DH and I get up at 7am so that we can get out of the door by 8am. It's really not that bad.
(Although I need to be getting up at 6:30am to work out but since DD#2 has not been STTN, I haven't been. However, she STTN the last two nights so if this continues, I'm going to start working out again in the morning.)
Wow, that feels good, thanks!
And if you go down the Road of Three, I can tell you get up at the same time in the morning to get three out the door as I did to get one out the door.
Cheers!
Haha! Yes, that's what I was thinking in terms of three. We do hope to have another and at times it feels like it would be overwhelming but then you get into a routine and it doesn't seem as daunting.
