Toddler gift help

My dad is going to the UK to visit my  IL's. He wants to get something for our niece(almost 2) and nephew(almost 4).

Suggestions, please!

Re: Toddler gift help

  • How about a nice rag doll for the girl.  Very packable, too.

For the boy.. maybe a baseball glove or something equally packable?

I like the rag doll idea. A baseball glove wouldn't go down well since most Brits think baseball is more boring than cricket.

I was thinking of getting some Lakers stuff(we live in LA).  Something fun and that they couldn't get over there. I know BRU has cute sports stuff. Hmmmm...
  • Fro the rag doll there are Manhattan dolls that would be perfect.  For the nephew, I think the local sports stuff could be cool.  You can also look for dress-up - cape and such -- or books like Interrupting Chicken.

Thanks! Off to check out Manhattan dolls and Interrupting Chicken.
  • Maybe a magnadoodle type toy?  Easy to pack, and two year old DD1 likes hers.
    DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.
