All of a sudden today, LO started to hit herself in the face and forehead with her free hand while nursing. What is that all about? I hold it down but as soon as I let go she goes back. Is it something to worry about? Ask the pedi about?
Pretty sure it is just normal motor skill development...DS does all kinds of stuff with his hands while nursing. I try to keep him from sticking his finger in his eye, but that seems to be a favorite for him.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
This is definitely normal my son does the same thing. They are just wiggle worms and they constantly move their hands. The more frustrated my son gets the more his arms and hands start to move
DS does this too. It's pretty funny. He is always hitting my boob too. That might start getting annoying once he gets stronger....
This too. I am full on laughing now. I joked with DH that she's trying to get more milk to come out... cause sometimes she punches, other times she uses her fingers. Thanks to all for making me laugh! I needed it today.
My LO doesn't hit herself in the face while nursing, but she does use my boob as a punching bag all the time, and she also likes to reach up and pull her lower eyelid down! I'm also running interference on these things. Just silly baby stuff.
Yep... Once, he accidentally grabbed his balls and wee wee during a diaper change. That REALLY made him scream! I felt so bad but it was pretty funny....
