Belle?s party is Saturday and I am starting to think that I didn?t come up with activities to keep the kids occupied. We rented a hall for her party (DH?s family is huge) so we won?t have any of Belle?s toys there. I printed out coloring pages to go along with the theme and was thinking of bringing play-doh but not sure if that will be enough. There are only 6 kids including Belle, three 2 year olds, and then an 8, 9, and a 10 year old. I don?t want the kids to be bored, any ideas?
Re: Kid activities at birthday party
It is Minnie Mouse themed. I thought about doing pin the bow on Minnie Mouse and now that I think about it, I think I picked something similar up from Party City. I have to go through all the bags of supplies and see what I have. Thank you!
The seller came back and wanted me to pay an additional $30 for the goody bags. I told her no thank you. Not worth it considering I ran out last night and picked up stuff to make the exact same bags for less the $10. I made them last ngiht and all I have to do is attatch the bow onto them. I orginally was just going to make them but decided to buy them so it was one less thing I had to do. I should have just made them to begin with. The bags still have not shipped.
Pin the bow on the Minnie Mouse!
Although I wouldn't be breaking my back to plan a ton of activities, I'm sure they will end up running around in circles anyway.
Bring plants and have the 2 year olds rip off leaves...at least we know 2 of them will be occupied!
Coloring pages will be fine...pin the bow on Minnie too. The kids will be occupied with each other. I wouldn't worry too much about it (says the mother NOT doing a party for her daughter!)

For L's first bday we had a wide range of kids- I had a play area set up in the hall with some toys and his little tykes slide- (I put paper shred on the floor- like hay and the babies loved crawling in it...)
For the older kids 8- 12: I did some goodie bags with silly string, candy, baseball cards for the boys and bracelets for the girls...
I let the older kids go wild with the silly string and that was enough...LOL
