XP: Re-Intro and Chart Stalk Request

Hello! I'm Jessica - I introduced myself a few weeks ago right after my mc, but haven't posted much since. DH and I started TTC #1 in January, got pregnant right away and it ended in a chemical pregnancy a few days later. We tried another 5 months and were stoked when I got pregnant again in June. My EDD was March 2012...at 9 weeks, I went in for an elective ultrasound (due to my CP in Jan..just to make sure everything was on track) and there was no heartbeat. DH and I were devastated and are still healing.  

We were ready to get right back to TTC and when my first period came 30 days post-m/c, I started tracking my cycles again. I'm not really glad to be back to this point, but am happy to look forward to the future.

Anyways, my chart this month is stumping me! I usually O on CD 17 - 19 and have 31 - 33 day cycles. I had a temp spike on CD 20, leading me to believe I O'd. BUT I took a OPK test last night (CD 20) and it was a clear +, confirmed by a digital OPK test. I got another + this morning.

Why aren't my OPK tests and temps lining up? I haven't gotten CH yet, so I know the best answer is to wait and see. I'm just stumped though! I take my temp at the same time each morning. CD 20 I marked sleep deprived b/c the last hour before temping I was tossing and turning.

History: Dx homozygous MTHRF gene mutation 11/2010 | Dx Mild Hypothyroidism 5/2011 
Cycle #1 - BFP 1/15/11 ended in cp 1/20/11 | Cycle #6 - BFP 6/24/11 - m/c at 9 weeks 8/1/11 
Cycle #1 after m/c - BFP 10/2/11 - EDD June 14, 2012 
Betas at 15 dpo: 331; at 17 dpo: 934 
Baby E born at 37 weeks on May 23, 2012!

    I have read that OPKs can sometimes be off, though not usually, by at least 3 days.  If you have strong hormones in your body I believe it's possible to still get a +OPK when you O.  If you look at my chart you'll see that I got a +OPK the day after I O'ed but I'm pretty positive I O'ed on CD18 becaue of the drastic change in CM on CD19.  I had an almost +OPK followed by three +OPKs.  Have you been tracking your CM?

    My CM has been sparse and hard to distinguish, especially with our marathon. :) I'm not worried about our timing....we are going to keep BD-ing until I get a - OPK. Thanks for the advice!!

    I think you're right about waiting to see what your temps do. I know it is hard to wait! I hope you get confirmation of O soon.
