FTM and everything tiny is super cute and attracts us like moths to light. We are those parents that want to buy rain boots even though she won't be splashing in any puddles, the super adorable pair of jeggings she'll outgrow the same day she's wearing them. Don't care. lol MIL keeps saying how it's a waste of money; obviously. We're just excited. Leave me be. Anyone else the same way?
Re: I know it's a waste of money, I don't care.
Got Swag?
Oh, I would be sad if the only clothes I had for LO were of the cheap and functional variety! It's been fun to get a few cute splurge items, like the itty bitty pair of cargo pants, and a newborn-size cap with a bear face and ears on it. DH and I only plan on having one child, so heck yes he will have some cute stuff he wears once or twice for photos.
If there's a consignment store in your area, that's a great source for those cute and impractical items.
This is what I was going to say. The cute baby stuff is for you, a college fund is actually for the benefit of the baby.
Don't even get me started on buying adorable things just because they are adorable...i had to talk myself out of buying these.
