Is anyone thinking of doing a theme costumes? I want to but I'm seriously having a dumb moment and can't think of anything. What are you girls planning?

DH and I have been together for 4 years and he refuses to dress up DD is going to be a pink little lamb. A FB friend is doing smurfs. They did Flinstones last year adding her sister and her BF to complete all the characters. HTH
We are doing real life heroes this year. I'm going as a doctor, DH as someone in the military (probably AF since we're both AF brats), DS1 will be a fireman, and DS2 will be a police man. Last year, DS1 was Batman, DS2 was Robin, I was Batgirl, and DH was a criminal (lame, I know. He refused to dress up in anything different).
Married to J since 5/05, Mommy to T (10/08), L (08/10) and C (02/13) who was born at home.
Some ideas: little red ridding hood and the big "small" wolf (maybe you could go as the grandma heh); tinkerbell and a lost boy (you could be tiger lily or wendy); snow white and a dwarf; alice in wonderland, mad hatter and queen of hearts; yoshi, toadstool and princess peach; cinderella, baby mouse and fairy godmother; and dorothy, scarecrow and the good witch. Little red and snow white are at the top of my list for DD.
Re: Family Themed Costumes
DD 12.2010
Well it's just me and the kids but I love Halloween, it's my mom's favorite holiday (she's the queen of costumes).
SN: Your daughter is sooooooooo cute! I love her eyes
We're doing a family theme! DH is going to be a knight, DS a Dragon, and I'm going to be a princess!
Since you have a little girl too, you might be able to add a fairy.
You could also do a theme like zoo animals and you or H could be a zookeeper ( I was really tempted to do this!)
I love making halloween a family event, we're really not that big on the spooky aspect of halloween, but we love to dress up and play around with DS!
Well.. since I just bought my DD a lavender backpack for her preschool program.. looks like she's going to be Dora and my DS will be Boots.
I have lots of pink shirts and orange shorts for her..am going to get her a wig...
as well as a lavender sleeper for him (yes.. I know people will think he's a girl...) but Boots if lavender!!! with red boots.
