I know that we are about to have babies and should be all caught up in it. But, I have to admit, I prefer wedding magazines to baby magazines. I love looking at the dresses! DH thinks I'm crazy because I still buy them and read them. So ladies, when was your wedding and what did you wear? Let's see pictures of the dresses!!!!

I got married 10-16-10 and again on 10-17-10-first time wasn't legit (LO will be born on 10-18-11, unless he decides to come early). I wore this dress from Allure...It was love at first sight! I loved it so much I had one custom made for DD, so she looked like a mini-me!

I got married 10/8/05 (baby is due 10/6). You can see pretty much the whole dress in this picture. It's a Judd Waddell.
I was married on 8/7/10. I LOVED my dress!!!! I was able to get it %50 off, off the rack at a boutique-y bridal store. I have plans to turn it into a baptismal gown for my LO's :-)

We were married 6-5-10, and LO is due 10-5-11' I fall in love with my dress all over every time I see it. and its my motivation to get back into shape after our little gal arrives!
We were married in August of 2007. It was 102 degrees. This kept me nice and cool.

I had a huge ballgown for the ceremony/dinner and then for the dance/cocktail reception I had a floor length fitted gown. I wore flipflops with both...the 2nd dress was 1 lighter than the 30lb dress that I didn't want to wear all night and 2--on our anniversary we can go out for a super formal dinner where DH will wear a suit and I'll wear the dress...however, that only works when your not 7.5 months pregnant on your anniversary! (we got married 8-1-09)
Fun! We'll be married 5 years in October and I wouldn't be suprised if the baby shows up on our anniversary. I'll be a few days late at that point.

A guest spilled red wine down the front of my dress. I survived. Thankfully, the dress was cheap
My sister is getting married in 2 years and I love looking at her wedding magazines! It makes me want to get married again, just so I can go try on wedding dresses.

Our wedding was August 7, 2010. I loved my dress and I got it for a great deal!!

I think she is still beating herself up after 2 years. She has offered multiple times to pay the cleaning bill. I didn't even bother cleaning it.
She was walking toward me on the dance floor when she stepped on the end of my dress (I was bent down talking to one of my little nephews). She slipped and her glass of wine (full) dumped directly into my face and dress. Wine stings the eyes ladies.
I was a bit freaked out at first but I got as cleaned up as I could, took a shot of Kettle One (I asked the bartender for a shot, wasn't sure if shots were "allowed" and she said "It's your wedding, of course"), and then proceeded to dance it up.
You can't let things like this get you down. That would have been a regretable thing to do.
Great attitude! I have to admit, when I saw your picture I thought- how cool!! She's got pink in her dress!! LOL totally wouldn't have known it was a spill, thought it was a cool on purpose dye job!
August 14, 2010. I wore a bridesmaid dress! It's pink! Here's me near the end of the reception.
I can't seem to put my hands on actual wedding photos so this is from when I tried the dress on! Like this in the back only pink not black.
If only I were that creative.

Apparently this is the only picture I have on my work computer of me wearing the dress. . . . this is totally one of those what the heck was I doing moments!!!
At 1am when our band left and a DJ took over for the after party, I switched into an Amsale little white dress that I wore to my shower. My dress wasn't that heavy, but wow was it squeezing on my waist! I was very happy to change!
Every one looks beautiful and you all found fabulous dresses! Keep the pics coming ladies!

We got engaged 5/31/10 and married 9/11/10 so I had a whole like week to find a dress. Thank goodness we were able to buy this one off the rack because I would have never been able to order with such a short engagement. I LOVED my dress and still wish I had an excuse to wear it again.
I got married 4-28-2009 and wore a short shirt-dress from David's Bridal. I was not at all looking for a princess-y look and I absolutely LOVED my dress. It was so comfortable.
I didn't have a "real" wedding. I was married 05/17/2008 and had DS on 06/06/2008 so yea, I was a beached whale in a white sundress. lol I was 19 and H was 17 (almost 18). His parent's had to give permission for him to get married. I'd like to have a real wedding one day maybe if we decide to renew our vows later on but we'll see. I get so excited to see other people's wedding pictures and how they did things and I never really got that.. But I'll just keep on dreaming! lol

Somthing similar happened to a friend of ours and the husband threw a suprise wedding for his wife for their 10 year anniversary.
He tricked her into thinking they were going to a Black and White ball in NYC so she needed a beautiful white gown. It was awesome.
