What did you think of the premiere tonight?
Honestly, I thought it was just so-so. I wasn't really into the music at all tonight. Anxious to see what happens with Quinn and Santana getting banned. Surprised that Blaine switched schools just like that (who does that?) and am curious to see how he fits into the group. Thought the audition by Suga was funny and am glad Will stood up to her and told her no.

I liked it but it was very "musicals" heavy in the music choices. I am a huge musicals geek so I was happy, I especially loved the Hairspray number at the end. It was so corny that Blaine switched schools- even though I love his character, I hate his bow ties.
I don't know if anyone watched the Glee project- I kinda did, so it was cool to see that Lindsay girl's appearance tonight.
I, too, expected something more...not sure what but something...
They needed a male lead with Sam gone and everyone loves Blaine (although it makes no sense for him to just switch schools). I liked the hairspray number at the end and I'm interested to see how long they keep Emma and Will in a happy relationship- although I'm glad they are finally together...

Yeah.. it wasn't so great. And maybe I just am brain dead, but i can't remember what the heck happened at the end of last season.. so I was kinda surprised that will and emma are living together suddenly.
Not a fan of Quinn being a hardass, but I am really interested in seeing what happens next week when whats-her-name (Rachel's mom) comes back and if we see the baby.
I am a little annoyed that Blaine is in new directions too.. He's gonna take all the spotlight from Finn and Kurt.. He's cute but I feel like its always all about him.

Yup this, what did happen?
I wasn't overly impressed with the episode but I didn't mind the music. I thought that was pretty good.
I watched the last two episodes of last season on the primtime on demand channel (705 in WNY) during naps yesterday and I think they moved in together during one of those - well, you saw them packing up some boxes.
We flipped it on last night while the kids were up...they LOOOOOOVE the singing and dancing. Evan was giggling and dancing is was so cute. I thought it was funny (esp the Rachel and Kurt reactions to that group they went to) but I don't have high expectations, really. I love the lady that plays Rachel's mom (she was in Wicked) and I'm excited to see what they sing next week - since I really really liked their Poker Face when she was on.
Throwing in a different point of view here... I havent finished the episode (I only got about 15 minutes in while nursing O this morning.... BUT - whats with the gratuitous Quinn smoking shot/lighting up??? For a show targeted to teens/young people - I dont think they should promote smoking like that... Also, I know Santana's humor is dark and dry, but I dont know if I liked her comment about "missing chromosomes" when addressing Becky (re: being co-captains)
I agree.. and the Aspergers girl was even worse/more offensive, IMO.
