I hate to tell you this, but my nausea and vomitting was worse starting at 12 weeks. At 14 weeks I went for an appt. Doc put me on Zofran 8mg. I took 1/2 a tablet in the a.m. 1/2 in p.m. for one week, then just 1/2 in a.m. for second week. I have been off of it since Saturday and I'm feeling pretty good. I'll be 17 weeks on Thursday! Hopefully you feel better soon!

ACK! I hope this isn't the case with me. I have never vomitted, but I am sick all day long. And it's so hard with an 18 month old running around. I may have to check out Zofran if this doesn't go away. So glad you are feeling better

Me! I've been getting worse since week 11, it's never ending. Worse part, the vomiting has escalated in intensity, but lessened in the amount of times. Not sure which is better. I hope you feel better soon.
I am 16 weeks and still throw up every other day or feel verrrry nauseous almost every day. During the days I have school I have to take zofran so that I don't dry heave in class and potentially throw up on my professors or classmates
It has, however, gotten better yet not as good as it should be...a.k.a GONE!
I didn't take Zofran yesterday or today and seem to be doing better. First thing in the morning is still hard because I have to take pills (and therefore drink water) on an empty stomach. I think if I could get food first thing I'd be better then too. But it's literally just been in the last day or two when I *finally* have an appetite (though most food still sounds pretty gross regardless).
I'm there with you. Although, I'm not nauseous all the time - I just throw up right after eating with no warning. That's why I was hospitalized for four days over the weekend. UGH. And for me, it got worse during 2nd tri. Some of us just react stronger to the changes in hormones and in our body.

i get sick if i don't eat and i get sick after i eat. i haven't found the right balance it sucks. i have only thrown up once but i gag three times and if i can keep it in i'm in the clear but it's so frustrating. i know people have it worse than me so i should thank my lucky stars but i still don't like it
Oh, my dear, I am so there with you. You and I are due about the same time...and from week 10 until now it seems the sickness just gets worse. Yesterday my little one would not let me keep anything down - food or drink. This is especially frustrating as I am trying to build up as much extra time at work so I won't have to go the full maternity leave time without pay. I spent all day in bed today...and my poor husband - he just feels so helpless and frustrated. I pray it gets better for you...and for all of us! I have cried over it...then the nasal drainage just makes me more nauseous..lol...oh, the joys of motherhood! Best wishes!
I'm not nauseous most of the time, but I quit the Zofran 2 days ago and now I'm back to puking. It isn't so bad because it happens then I'm fine the rest of the day. But I'd still rather just not...

Add me to the list. Doctor gave me a Rx too (promethazine) but it knocks me out. First time I took it, I fell asleep at my desk. So I've been struggling without it. My food aversions have gotten so bad that if I smell or eat one of them, I get sick. On an off note - OP, I don't know if I've said it, but I adore your siggy pic. He's adorable!
I'm still on Zofran. It's getting better, though! I haven't actually vomited in several weeks. AND I actually slept all the way through the night without meds! (Although I did wake up once to pee and felt nauseous.)
This is the first week I've felt good since week 5. I thought as soon as I hit the 2nd trimester the m/s would go away. I finally started to feel better on Sunday. I hope you all feel better soon!
