You all may remember from my previous posts that the baby was measuring a week behind at our 20-week u/s. Well, s/he is still measuring a week behind and they were able to plot me on the intrauterine growth charts today. The baby is only at the 25th percentile right now (1 lb. 3 oz). My MFM doc doesn't seem too concerned. The placenta looks fine and my blood pressure is fine. He just thinks I make extra small babies, partly due to my unicornuate uterus. They are going to continue to plot the growth and make sure I don't get below the 10th percentile, which indicates intrauterine growth restriction. I'm just nervous about this baby starting out so small. I only have a 15% gap between where s/he is now and IUGR. The good news is that the growth was consistant from 20 weeks to now. Also, my placenta previa is gone so my hubby and I can have sex again. Yay! I go back in 4 weeks for another check. He said I could come back in 3 weeks but that there's nothing really they can do at 27 weeks if the baby is IUGR. I would really appreciate all your thoughts and prayers that this little one keeps growing!

Re: 24-week growth scan...not great news
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
I'm sorry about your news. Your situation sounds similar to mine, although I don't have a unicornuate uterus. My LO was measuring in the 50-60% at 19w then dropped to near 30% at 23w and kept dropping.
She's now at 6% and officially IUGR but there's nothing they can do but continue to monitor her. I did get the steroid shots at 33w just to be safe in case of early delivery. I go for twice-weekly monitoring (NST, AFI, and doppler u/s of the cord and placenta) as well as growth scans every other week.
I thought they planned to deliver as soon she got below 10% but they said since her blood flow and fluid levels look good, and my blood pressure has come back down, that they would keep her going as long as possible. I'll keep your LO in my T&Ps!
Lots of T&Ps to you and your LO. Grow LO, grow!!

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.
