1st Appt with HealthCare for Women (Arlington)

Hi there -- I will soon be going to my first prenatal appointment at HealthCare for Women.  I should be about 7 weeks along.  Has anyone else gone there that can help explain a little more about what I should expect?  Trying to decide if DH should go along...but sounds like 7 weeks may be too soon for a heartbeat.

    no advice about that practice for you but wanted to say congrats to you but in general you can USUALLY see a HB on an ultrasound at 7 weeks but you can't hear it...

    Congrats! I haven't used HealthCare but at our 7 week appointment, I had an u/s to confirm the due date (I was irregular - generally they don't do such an early one without a reason) and we did hear a heart beat - a strong one too! I think that's pretty normal.

    My husband came and it was nice to have him there since many of my appointments haven't worked with his schedule.
