One of my friends has had 3 c-sections, and says that she has no feeling left in her clitoris. She says its because of having a c-section, and how they cut you open. Has anyone else heard of something like this?
Doesn't seem to make sense to me. I had numbness around the incision. The reason for that is because they can cut into some of the nerve endings there when they open you up. However, over time it heals and you get the feeling back. Since your clitoris is no where near, why would there be numbness? I've heard of numbness occurring if you use toys too much. Perhaps that's the culprit.
After three years, I still have a little numbness in a few spots near my incision, but my lady bits feel just fine. They don't touch or do anything in that region, so I am not sure what your friend is talking about. Makes no sense.

that makes no sense to me, i had numbness around my incision area that went away and i am expecting i will have again after my this cs, but everything south of my incision works and feels just fine.

I'm late to the game on this one, so I doubt anyone will read this.
I had complete numbness of my "lady bits" for about 6 weeks PP. Even after the feeling started to come back, it didn't fully return until about 6 months PP. Everything from the incision down to my upper thighs was numb to the touch. I couldn't even feel when I used toilet paper. The feeling has returned (except for a few inches around the incision, which I suspect will always be numb).
Anyway, it can happen. It's not common, but it's not impossible.
