The doctor just called...

I went to the doctor on Monday and heard the heartbeat which was wonderful.  Tonight I got a call that my progesterone levels are low and she wants me to go on progesterone.  I am quite freaked out right now since I have had one previous loss.  I am doubly freaked out by the fact that we made a facebook announcement last night since we had heard the heartbeat.  I can't wait until second trimester!

    Many many pregnancies turn out just fine when the mother had to supplement her progesterone. It will turn out okay.

    i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

    I also have low progesterone and have been using the vaginal suppositories since the day after my BFP and I've had 4 normal ultrasounds so far- including one today where we heard a beautiful, strong heartbeat. 

    Lots of women have low progesterone and have completely normal pregnancies. Don't worry! The supplements will do their job and raise your levels.

    A lot of people have progesterone supplements, I wouldn't start panicking by any means.

    Everything is going to work out. As hard as it sounds just try to relax and concentrate on growing that baby.
